Welcome to the Experimental and Behavioral Economics (EBE) Lab at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
If you are a student at UNL you have the chance to participate in economic experiments conducted at the Department of Agricultural Economics. They are quite fun and rewarding! Experiments are designed by individual researchers to study behavior in a wide range of social situations. Most of the experiments involve multiple student participants. Cash earnings are paid to each participant at the end of each session. These include a flat show-up fee and money earned during the course of the experiment. Your performance in the experiment greatly affects these cash earnings.
Experiments generally don’t last more than 2 hours. After you register on this website, individual researchers will send you email invitations to scheduled experimental sessions. There is also a calendar with scheduled sessions where you will be able to sign up for times that work for you.
Details about each experiment cannot be given until the start of that particular session, since it may affect the outcome. Your participation is voluntary and there are no risks to you in you decide to participate. All experiments have been approved by the UNL Institutional Review Board.
You can register your interest in being a participant by clicking on the "Register" tab.
Any personal information which you give to us will be kept for research purposes only. Every effort will be made to maintain confidentiality.
If you are already registered, Click on the "Find a Session and Sign Up" tab to sign up for a particular study.
